The 49-year-old Stefan Leitl took over the team in February 2025 when Hertha were in 14th place. Under his guidance, the club improved to 11th and seventh-place finishes. Leitl, who guided Greuther Fürth to Bundesliga promotion in 2021, has forged a tight-knit unit. "The team proved that they always have the will, they always want it," Leitl said after a match.
